Glitch's Revenge x GCBC Collab

OVERVIEW

This was a social media promotion that helped promote the G.A.M.E. conference by announcing it's collaboration with GCBC in an exciting way! With introducing the audience to the lore of the promotional video game, "Glitch's Revenge".

About the project

To build up anticipation for the upcoming G.A.M.E conference at GCU, which was an event to help promote the new game design program at GCU. Many projects stemmed from this event, fully functional websites, posters, event coordination, and even a promotional video game to build up hype for the event. In the weeks leading up the event, it was announced that the game would collab with GCBC, a GCU based coffee shop. As part of my internship I created a motion tracked advertisement that put assets from the game into real life footage. Compiling it together in a way to tell a cohesive story and contain the essence of the video game. In this project, I experimented with frame by frame animation with most of the assets and topping it off with computer generated animation all within After Effects.
