Ol' Reliable Home Improvement Opening Sequence

OVERVIEW

During one of my 3D classes, we were tasked in creating two separate houses that will be included in the title sequence, along with a 3D modeled logo. This project was crucial to my understanding and improvement in implementing 3D work in my projects. I wanted to push myself in this project so I created highly detailed models with trying to follow real-world proportions as much as possible. This project was influential in settling in the style of semi-realism in my 3D models.

About the project

The two houses I created for this piece were a forest inspired apartments that utilized old wood textures and concrete stairs. While the other house is a modern adobe home with unique architectural style that was reminiscent of the modern style homes and Bauhaus inspired. As for my logo, I would incorporate pieces of both houses and make it a cohesive logo, that used semi-realistic textures to emphasize the home improvement brand.
